2020 Collaborative Health Innovation Project Grant

Brief Description:

Recipients of our Collaborative Health Innovation Project, or CHIP grants, will demonstrate how their problem-solving project improves health outcomes for everyone. They will work inclusively with their communities, make the most of existing resources, and collaborate with at least one other organization as part of their problem-solving and/or response process. CHIP grant awards will start at $10,000 and cap at $50,000.

Recipients of our Collaborative Health Innovation Project, or CHIP grants, will demonstrate how their problem-solving project improves health outcomes for everyone. They will work inclusively with their communities, make the most of existing resources, and collaborate with at least one other organization as part of their problem-solving and/or response process. CHIP grant awards will start at $10,000 and cap at $50,000.


Special Eligibility Requirements:

  • Applicants must be an established 501(c)3 in good standing with the IRS; a public agency or governmental unit; or Indian Tribal Government.
  • Applicants must provide services within Nantahala Health Foundation's service area, which includes Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Macon, Jackson, and Swain counties in Western North Carolina, as well as the Qualla Boundary.
  • Awards will be made to organizations, not individuals.
  • Innovative, collaborative programs should serve to address at least one of Nantahala Health Foundation's priority areas.
